Get to know – and love – the uniquely soft and versatile brioche stitch! In this class we’ll (start to) knit the “Brioche Basix“ scarf together, a great pattern for brioche beginners, who want to dive right in and learn all the basic stitches at once: one- and two-colour brioche (knit flat), increases and decreases. We’ll get to know abbreviations used in brioche patterns, learn how to count stitches and rows, measure gauge and block brioche.

Materials to bring: worsted (light aran) weight yarn in two colors (eg. Malabrigo Rios) and 5 mm/US8 circular needles.
