I can’t get enough of Chevrons! They’re just too much fun to play with, especially paired with a color pop.

This cowl is worked sideways and the ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. You then pick up stitches from one side of the cowl and knit the stockinette section in the round. There are two options for finishing – either with more frilly – with holey chevrons – or plain – with garter stitch.

Either way, the cowl offers lots of variations for wearing: fold the stockinette section inside (as lining), wear it pulled out, or even pulled up as a hood or a Balaclava, fold the cowl and secure it with a shawl pin for a more fitted neckwarmer version.
