Brioche Adventures

In this class for experienced brioche knitters we go beyond the basics and get to know the many design possibilities of brioche stitch! The class covers graphic brioche motifs, syncopated brioche, brioche cables, onecolor brioche short-rows and combining brioche with other knitting stitches and textures. We will also discuss which influence yarn and color choice has on the finished piece and how to combine different yarn weights and fibers.

Skill level: This is a class for experienced brioche knitters. Students should have finished at least one brioche shawl or sweater and be comfortable with brioche knit and purl stitches as well as increase and decreases. Please take one of the introductory brioche classes before taking this one!

Supplies: At least two colors of yarn and matching circular needles (with 16“/40 cm or 24“/60 cm cord) or DPNs (eg. fingering weight and US 4/3.5 mm, or worsted weight and US 7/4.5 mm). Several stitch markers and one locking stitch marker.
