The large triangular shawl is knit top-down in one- and two-color brioche and garter stitch short rows. The contrasting stripes have tiny and larger bobbles and the border features a spiky brioche edge.
The large one-color brioche section is constructed with increases only at the edges, so no increase line disrupts the flow of brioche in the center.
The entire shawl is surrounded by an i-cord for a neat and finished look and extra color pop.
As the shawl is designed for and with 3 skeins of Julie Asselin’s Leizu Fingering Simple, which has a generous yardage of 438 m per 115 g skein, it comes in two versions: the original large size and a slightly smaller version that works with a more traditional yardage of 366 m / 400 yds per 100 g skein.
