The shawl is knit sideways on the bias, starting at the top right corner, with increases along the beginning of the row to shape the triangle. The body of the shawl is knit in Stockinette Brioche with two contrasting shades. Increases and decreases create the intersecting diagonal lines.
While Stockinette Brioche is not a reversible stitch pattern, the reverse side offers textural interest and contrasts beautifully with the crisp stripes on the front.
A border in Garter stitch surrounds the entire shawl to anchor the fabric, an I-Cord edge adds a neat finish.
